Thanksgiving holiday, Fox Valley Developers teamed up with the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry to provide 200 families in need with a turkey and sides to have a complete holiday meal.
Fox Valley Developers committed to improving the neighborhood and entire Aurora community by remediating, securing and preserving the former Copley Hospital Campus. After nearly three decades of decay and delay, progress is already being made.
The members of Fox Valley Developers believe it is important to be a good neighbor and give back to the community.
To help distribute the Thanksgiving meal kits, Alderman Bill Donnell joined the team from Konrad Construction, Laborers International Union Local 582, Dr. Twila Garza, principal, Bardwell Elementary School, and the Woermans, Poulakidas and Konrad families.
Fox Valley Developers thanks Marilyn Marilyn Weisner of the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry for her assistance in making this possible.
In December, the project team is again co-hosting its annual holiday fundraiser to benefit Hesed House, to raise funds to help battle homelessness in the Aurora region.
